Who Are We

Welcome to Kassidy's Manga Lane! Our shop started as a goal of a high school senior, who wanted to one day open an anime/manga store with a small coffee shop so people with a love of anime could shop, hang out and chat.  She found common ground with her soon to be step-father, as they both shared a love for anime.  He offered to assist her financially with purchasing some inventory to do tables at vendor sales.  Kassidy did a few pop up locations and then an opportunity to get a small space at the Slatington Farmer's Market came up.  That 10 X 10 space opened on 12/1/2022.  By Christmas there was no doubt we needed more space.  The area next to our shop was open and we grabbed it and moved in for 1/1/2023.  On 2/4/2023 was the ribbon cutting as we were fully stocked.  In the past few months Kassidy, Kristin and Mike have met so many amazing people. We have seen families who all spent time together watching anime.  We have gotten to know so many people and are so excited to take this next step and offer online purchases.  Kassidy will graduate in June and will attend college part time.  She will transition during that time to learning more of the paperwork part of running the business and hopefully after graduation from college will be able to have her own storefront in her own space.  We will keep you up to date on things- we appreciate you!
